What makes you unique, valuable, and visible?
In our highly competitive world, you have to be unique and fill a special niche to be successful. You cannot thrive if you're a "me too" person like everyone else. The objective is to differentiate yourself from the rest of the pack – your rivals. You absolutely positively need a Unique Personal Identity (UPID) that "cuts through the clutter", separates you from the competition, and positions you as the best choice, or the only logical choice. Having a UPID will dramatically improve how you position yourself. Your UPID is the force that will drive your success. The ultimate goal of your UPID is to have people say to you "Oh yes, I have heard of you. You are the person who…" Using a powerful UPID will make positioning yourself much easier and you will build a lasting reputation.

A personal style has a tremendous influence over whether people pay attention to you and believes how you come across.
